Circular Transformation for Youth: Sustainability and New Horizons in the Digital Age
CIRCULAR is an Erasmus+ KA153-YOU Training Course that brings together youth workers from Türkiye, France, Spain and Slovenia to explore the intersection of circular economy, sustainability and digital transformation in youth work.
Through hands-on workshops, non-formal learning methods and international peer exchange, participants will develop practical competences in eco-design, repair culture, waste mapping and circular systems thinking — turning EU frameworks into actionable youth work activities.
The training course will take place in Antalya, Türkiye from 29 October to 3 November 2026, with arrival on 28 October and departure on 4 November.
Strengthen youth workers' understanding of circular economy and sustainability.
Develop practical skills through eco-design, repair culture, waste mapping and circular systems thinking.
Turn EU concepts such as Right to Repair, Ecodesign and Greenwashing into practical youth work activities.
Co-create a Circular Youth Work Toolbox with ready-to-use methods and activities.
Improve youth workers' digital content creation and online facilitation skills.
Promote environmental awareness, inclusion and behavioural change among young people.
Strengthen peer learning and international cooperation between youth organisations.
Contribute to SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG 15 – Life on Land.
5 participants + 1 group leader per country | 3 women + 3 men per national group
Be 18–50 years old. Group leaders have no age limit.
Be active as a youth worker, volunteer, peer educator, trainer or educator working with young people.
Have a clear interest in sustainability, circular economy and environmental issues.
Be motivated to take part in non-formal learning activities, workshops and teamwork.
Have at least an intermediate level of English to actively participate in the programme.
Be willing to share the knowledge and methods gained during the project within their organisation or local community.
Be interested in improving their digital skills and youth work practices.
Be available for the full duration of the mobility and actively participate in all activities.
The activity programme runs from 29 October to 3 November 2026, with arrival on 28 October and departure on 4 November.
Daily reflection and evaluation activities will take place throughout the training course.

These amounts represent the maximum eligible reimbursement for round-trip travel per participant, based on the official EU distance band.
Participants are allowed an extra 2 travel days, which can be used as 2 days before, 2 days after, or 1 day before + 1 day after the activity.
These additional days are counted from the moment you begin your travel to Türkiye.
Tickets purchased without prior approval from the project coordinator will NOT be reimbursed.
All selected participants must send their proposed travel options to their Group Leader. Group Leaders are responsible for collecting the travel options of their national team and obtaining approval from the coordinator.
Participants should not contact the coordinator individually regarding ticket approval.
After the mobility, all reimbursement documents will be uploaded to the designated Google Drive folder.
Reimbursement will be transferred either to the sending organisation or to the Group Leader, according to the arrangements agreed with each partner organisation.
For reimbursement, we will accept only official invoices and receipts issued by the airline, bus company, train company or other transport provider.
Travel itineraries, booking confirmations or screenshots alone are NOT accepted as proof of expenditure. An official invoice or receipt is required.
Boarding passes are mandatory for reimbursement.
Boarding passes must be submitted either digitally (online/mobile boarding pass) or as the original paper boarding pass.
Participants must keep all boarding passes until the reimbursement process is fully completed.
Participants and Group Leaders are responsible for keeping and submitting all required travel documents.

Antalya is a vibrant Mediterranean city on the southwest coast of Türkiye, known for its stunning turquoise coastline, rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality. As one of the most popular destinations on the Turkish Riviera, it offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and urban life.
With its mild autumn climate, ancient landmarks, and Mediterranean atmosphere, Antalya provides an inspiring setting for international youth work and intercultural exchange.
One of Antalya's most famous natural landmarks, where the Lower Düden Waterfall flows directly into the Mediterranean Sea.
Antalya's historic centre with traditional houses, narrow streets, cafés, shops and the old harbour.
A long Mediterranean coastline with beautiful mountain views, perfect for walking and enjoying the sunset.
A good place to discover a wide variety of traditional Turkish dishes and kebabs.
Try Antalya's traditional Yanık Dondurma (Burnt Ice Cream), a local ice cream made with goat's milk and known for its distinctive slightly smoky flavour.

Essential details for your trip.
Meals will mainly include vegetables, meat dishes and traditional Turkish cuisine. Vegetarian options will also be available.
Participants should inform the organisers in advance about any allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements.
Each national team will have the opportunity to present its country through traditional food, snacks, music, games, culture and other local products.
Participants are welcome to bring traditional non-alcoholic products, snacks, sweets, souvenirs or other cultural items from their countries and use them during the National Evening presentations.
Participants should also bring a small national flag from their country for the National Evening.
As most project activities will take place on the university campus, alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited inside the university and during project activities.
Participants must not bring, consume or distribute alcoholic beverages during sessions, National Evenings or any activity organised on university premises.
For National Evenings, you are welcome to bring traditional snacks, sweets, soft drinks, souvenirs and other cultural products from your country, but please do not bring alcohol.
We kindly ask all participants to respect the university rules and the professional learning environment of the project.
Comfortable clothes and shoes for workshops and outdoor activities
A warm jacket and raincoat/umbrella, as Antalya can be rainy and cool in late October and early November
Personal toiletries and any regular medication you may need
A reusable water bottle to support the sustainability approach of the project
Your laptop or tablet, if possible, for digital workshops and Toolbox activities
Valid passport/ID and travel documents
A small national flag from your country for the National Evening
A positive attitude, creativity and willingness to participate actively
Free Wi-Fi will be available at the accommodation.
At the university activity venue, participants who have access to eduroam can connect using their own university/institutional credentials.
For internet access outside the accommodation and university, we recommend using an eSIM or mobile data plan during your stay in Türkiye.
